AFTERWARDS is a dark yet spiritual drama that follows the tormented journey of a man who’s been abandoned in the frozen north for thirty years after his death.
Stephen has become one of Canada’s most sought after writer and director. With four films being released in the next 6 months including the universally praised feature “The Martini Shot” with Matthew Modine, John Cleese, Derek Jacobi and Stuart Townsend. His feature The Performance was Executive produced by Peter O’Toole and he was the director for Burt Reynolds last movie “Defining Moments”. He’s currently the head of Hollywood North Studios in Canada. He’s shooting multiple features in 2024 including the long anticipated feature ” A Trip Amongst the Lights”.
Afterwards is an example of what happens when you try to tell a story that’s never been told and do it in minus 30 degree C. It’s a wonderfully complex story of a man who is long dead but who still finds himself stuck in the northern tundra. An event happens which forces him to leave his safe environment and search for what comes next.
