Carlos Diaz is an Austin TX based writer, director, and independent filmmaker from Los Angels, CA. He was introduced to the world of cinema in 1980 with his first movie experience, Superman 2. That planted a seed of inspiration in his heart and led him to pursue filmmaking as a passion and career.
Diaz studied filmmaking in Pasadena, CA. After writing, directing, and producing many short films his journey took him to Texas where he connected with likeminded individuals resulting in the creation of award-winning films such as THE BALLAD OF EMMA WRIGHT, LEST WE FORGET, ERRORES, BALAS Y BOLEROS and an upcoming film titled WHISPER OF FAITH.
