When Liam reunites with his father after a decade apart, a tense courthouse meeting forces him to choose between the life or death of their relationship.
Mauricio Dzierwa is native to Toronto, Canada, and is a recent RTF graduate from UT Austin. In 2024, he racked up seven directing credits and started 2025 by directing his first commercial and making his thesis film “Inner Child.” Since graduating, Mauricio has focused on developing and writing feature film scripts. His #1 goal is to make what he wants to see on the big screen and to share the experience with others.
“Fatherhood will go down as my most personal and vulnerable film yet. It goes against the norms of masculinity and shows that men can open up and be vulnerable, too. Ultimately, my goal is for those who have gone through parental abandonment to know that they are not alone in the questions and feelings that they have.”
