Notified of a film fest at the last second, Chad decides to make a video. But when his project is on the ropes, it becomes clear all hope is lost. Will he finish the film on time and gain self worth, or give up and retreat until next year?

Director Biography – Chad Laurich

From the age of 1 to 37, Chad Laurich took a break from filmmaking to pursue his childhood and, thereafter, his career. Now he has returned to the big screen for the premiere “For Film’s Sake” after having completed other shorts such as “Secret Santa” and “Meck and Dedge.”

Director Statement

For this film, I wanted submit something light hearted. A return to storytelling with as much of refined visuals I could create. I truly did complete this project in less than 3 weeks. It is a combination of a couple very short film ideas that I have had, but never completed. And therein lies the message to myself. You just have to complete it. No matter what.

Also equipment doesn’t make the director.
