Director Statement

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I consider myself to be a satirist who blends elements of horror and slapstick comedy to create a completely unique and entertaining experience for the audience. Influenced by great avant garde masters before me, as well as classic comedic television, I like to grapple with heavy-handed philosophical questions in a way that both elicits laughter and provokes a conversation regarding the core of the human experience. Unafraid to use emerging technologies, “Horses” is a hybrid piece that both allowed me to experiment with artificial intelligence while also exploring, perhaps even satirizing, the conversation surrounding its advent.
