Joseph Ford is a Chicago-based filmmaker and creative.
While receiving a film education at Taylor University in central Indiana, he produced and edited short sports documentary “MTXE: Mental Toughness Xtra Effort”, which went on to win Best Indiana Student Film at the 2021 Indy Shorts International Film Festival. The next year, his directing thesis took a 3rd place prize in the 2022 Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts.
Since moving to Chicago, he has worked extensively in the camera department for regional indie features, as well as on projects for Disney+, ESPN, and HBO Max. His debut short film “How To Sell Your Soul” premiered to an Audience Choice award at the 2024 edition of the Big Picture Peoria Film Festival.
