I WILL NOT GO GENTLY INTO THE NIGHT
A young woman has to survive a sudden werewolf attack while out camping with friends.
Glenn Maxwell is a young filmmaker based in Austin, TX. Although originally born in Las Vegas, Glenn has called Texas home for over a decade and graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Media Arts. Glenn is currently having a successful film festival run with his latest short film, Audition, and works as a Camera Prep Technician at MPS Studios Austin.
Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved horror movies, specifically ones from the 80’s. An American Werewolf in London, Invaders from Mars, and Day of the Dead being staples from my youth. On a recent viewing on Day of the Dead back in October of 2023, I thought to myself “What if I made my own horror short?”.
I WILL NOT GO GENTLY INTO THE NIGHT is what was born out of pure love and admiration of the horror movies that have shaped me as a filmmaker. It was incredibly tough to shoot the single page script I had written, but seeing the final project that oozes my passion for horror makes me feel incredibly proud. I hope you enjoy this micro short just as much as I do.
