Lost and Found
A year after the death of Margaret, Emily, the middle child of Margaret and Peter, is navigating the loss of her mother. Emily gets herself into trouble; Peter may have to get help from the person he trust the least, his brother -in-law Zach.
“Lost and Found” is the second film in a series of short anthology based short films, called “The Journey”, that are part of a larger story.
“Lost and Found” has been a journey in itself creating with Kalli Rodriguez. I first came to her with the idea of Emily losing her mom and the desire to tell an authentic story that tackles loss head on. The feelings Emily were going through were directly tied to us as writers and were blessed with the casting of Samantha Jaye to perfectly portray Emily. I’m proud of the work we have done and believe this film can provide wisdom and hope to those dealing with huge loss in their lives.
