Monologues
An actor hunts for the perfect monologue, but each one sucks more than his current relationship.
Beginning as an actor in the theatre and film, Hannah Vicars is now establishing her career as a filmmaker. Her recent works have included travels to Bangalore, India for theatrical acting and voice acting through Rouge Media Network. She is a co-founder of the multi-year Trojan Theatre Alumni Scholarship program and a recipient of multiple regional thespian and performance awards.
Finding the perfect monologue is like dating–awkward, frustrating, and full of dramatic pauses. You envision yourself delivering a powerhouse performance… only to cringe halfway through as you realize you’ve turned a monologue about chocolate milk into an overly dramatic Shakespearean tragedy. In MONOLOGUES, we dive headfirst into the beautifully chaotic brain of an actor on a quest for “the one”–the monologue that could make or break their career (or at least land them a callback).
