Mr. Mittens
Mr. Mittens lived with a loving family until one day they decided to neuter him, leaving him with no choice but to get revenge on every person involved in the removal of his testicles.
Glenn Maxwell is a young filmmaker based in Austin, TX. Although originally born in Las Vegas, Glenn has called Texas home for over a decade and graduated from the University of North Texas. Some of his short films include, Audition, I WILL NOT GO GENTLY INTO THE NIGHT, and Jake and Angelica.
Glenn is currently working on his first feature film as well as finishing his latest short, Penitence, and works as a Camera Prep Technician at MPS Studios Austin.
Mr. Mittens is by far one of the weirdest things I have ever thought of. I’ve had a deep passion for old Grindhouse movies as well as low budget dollar bin horror movies since I saw The Asylum’s War of the Worlds at way too young of an age. Mr. Mittens was created as a loveletter to those type of movies, where insane ideas like a cat seeking bloody vengeance are the standard.
I’m incredibly proud of Mr. Mittens, it’s a very personal project that taught me a lot about myself. It made me feel like a kid again making movies with my friends and I hope that joy and passion shows in every single frame of my short.
