Oh Deer
A dark comedy about the perils of parenting.
Richard originally planned to be a journalist. Shortly after graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism he found himself working as an editor and discovering more of his artistic side. He was especially drawn to the art of the actors that he was editing. This created a journey into understanding film making as an actor, producer and now director.
Film, like good journalism, has the ability to shift paradigms and awaken people to new possibilities by digging deeply into truth.
In my shorts i try to explore things like parenting and relationships via my own dark sense of humor. I want to make people ask…what was that about but also get them to have a laugh or at least make them feel something.
