RPG Thing
A young man revisits an abandoned video game he developed and he rediscovers an old friend in the process.
Robert Lenz is an aspiring film maker and game developer. He started out by creating numerous video edits for family members and friends, eventually branching out to try film making. He has a deep love for creative story telling and various creative processes, especially pixel art and drawing.
With RPG Thing, I simply wanted to portray the struggles and self doubt I’ve had when sharing things I created with other people. It’s a struggle that I imagine many other folks feel as well. My goal with this film was to capture at least part of what can take to be vulnerable and share a creative work.
