Titty Boy

TITTY BOY tells the story of a teenage boy with gynecomastia (aka “man boobs”) who attempts to change his body by taking matters into his own hands.

Director Biography – Austin Ford Franklin Culp

Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Austin moved to Austin (I know, I know) to pursue a career in film. After attending the University of Texas for Radio-Television-Film, he was hired at the Austin Film Society in 2012. Since then, he has been focused on marketing the nearly 40-year-old film organization (founded by Richard Linklater), Texas-made projects, and the Austin film scene. He is passionate about telling stories that relate to his life growing up in Texas.

Director Statement

As a teenager growing up in rural Texas with gynecomastia, things were a little rough! From bullying to shame and constantly trying to hide the problem, it was a day-to-day problem. I made this for anyone who has gone through a similar thing – bullying in school is relentless for those who aren’t the same as others. I wanted to explore this story of my own with a little bit of comedy, because we have to laugh to get through the harder moments. I hope people can relate and enjoy the film.
