Shaler Keenum is a Texas native finishing his Masters in Film and Digital Media at Baylor University. When not working on his own projects, Shaler often works as a script supervisor. Along with filmmaking, Shaler has a passion for literature and philosophy and is always seeking to learn more about the world around him. He sees filmmaking as an opportunity to learn more about people and their experiences in the world.
With ‘to write the ending’ I really wanted to explore what could happen if someone had the ability to literally write their own future. At some point or other, I feel like we have all wished we could control what happens in our lives, so I used this film as an exploration of that idea.
