Wildcat
It’s the early 1900s oil boom in Texas and Clara’s husband, Sam, a driller, has disappeared, along with her daughter, Dottie. Clara knows the oil crew Sam was hired on to is responsible for the disappearances and stalks them day and night looking for answers. Otis, the owner of the well is desperate to bring his well in, but his driller has disappeared and now his crew is being stalked by Clara.
Just as Otis decides to take matters into his own hands, Dottie suddenly reappears. But she may not be all that she seems. Over a long night, Clara and Otis come face to face with each other as a malevolent presence appears to toy with them.
Set against the cinematic, yet lonely, backdrop of rural west central Texas, Wildcat explores themes of desperation and isolation. As the long night comes to an end, it remains to be seen who will get out alive, if anyone…
