My goal as a filmmaker is to tell stories that people relate to. To create characters that they fall in love with. To me– Dancer is a story about trauma– and its devastating effects. If viewers were to learn anything from Dancer, I would hope that it’s to show compassion to everyone around you, as it is impossible to know what they are going through.
Overall, bringing this story to life was an amazing experience. Thanks so much to my incredibly talented cast and crew– and thank you to the fans who have continually supported my art. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
