Jake Portie’s latest psychological-thriller follows the story of forensic psychologist Dr. Carbyn Wolf and explores a typical day in her life.
Jake Portie is a filmmaker from Southeast Texas who is known for his psychological-thriller storytelling and distinct directing style. His short films Ruthless and The Neighborhood Watch were each State Finalists in the UIL Young Filmmakers Festival in 2015 and 2016 respectively. These projects were screened at the historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX. Portie now studies TV and Film Production at Sam Houston State University where his latest thriller (Dancer) recently received the award for Best Performance at the school’s 2017 Spring Film Festival.
