Hellier: Season Two

Hellier: Season Two

A small crew of paranormal researchers find themselves in a dying coal town, where a series of strange coincidences leads them to a decades-old mystery with far-reaching implications.

Prison City Film Festival,

Thank you for the opportunity to submit HELLIER: SEASON 2 to your festival.

HELLIER: SEASON 2 is a ten-episode continuation to the groundbreaking cinematic documentary series that follows a fascinating and expansive investigation into UFOs, alien contactees, ritual magick, and a supernatural conspiracy hiding in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains. It’s the scariest, most ambitious project we’ve ever taken on.

Building upon season one’s signature anamorphic vérité format, HELLIER: SEASON 2 continues to push the boundaries of what paranormal television can look like, presenting a stunning, immersive exploration of High Strangeness unlike anything viewers have ever experienced in the genre before. We think you’ll agree.

We’ve uploaded our favorite episode of season two, the episode ten finale titled “Night of Pan”, to the FilmFreeway submission portal, but all ten episodes are available to watch on YouTube and Amazon Prime . Episodes 2 and 6 are particular standouts of this season.

Thanks for checking out HELLIER: SEASON 2, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the project, the cast & crew, or cave-dwelling monsters.

Stay strange,

Director Biography – Karl Pfeiffer

Blending his talents in fine art, his interest in video, television, and movies, and his passion for those things epic, romantic, and mysterious about the world around him, Karl now concentrates most of his creative pursuits toward filmmaking.

His primary focus and style revolves around blending the traditional sense of videography as a documentation of the world around us in a moment, with new technology that allows those images to be manipulated toward the surreal and the impossible. It’s here, he finds, that those things supernatural, mystical, Platonic, and meaningful can start to leak into images otherwise firmly based in the physical world grounded in light and shadow.

His clients include Fearless Records and the bands BlessTheFall, My Enemies and I, The White Noise, and The Ghoulies. He does book and cover design for his own novels as well as for the novelist Jude Fawley. His portfolio also includes portrait work for the web network The Dark Zone, as well as cast members from Ghost Hunters, Kindred Spirits, Ghost Mine, and Ghost Hunters International, as well as advertising for The Stanley Hotel and the Ghost Hunter Cruise.
