Karate Belt was born out of my childhood experience of being punched in the nose as a 10-year old kid coupled with my overwhelming feeling of confidence from taking YMCA Karate at the time. This film is a reflection the some movies that inspired me including Berry Gordy’s:The Last Dragon, Best of the Best, and Friday to name a few.
