Neon Days

Neon Days

24-year old Jake spends most of his days with misfits at InterSkate Roller Rink while also trying to navigate adulthood. With the help of a seasoned therapist, he explores his past, present, and future with a different outlook.

Neon Days was shot entirely in the DFW area and features Texas talent in front of and behind the camera. I’d love for our Texas premiere to be at PCFF! Huntsville seems like a really cool place and it looks like y’all put a lot of work into this festival. I’d love to attend with the cast and crew!

It is a true independent film with a small budget of $33,000 – all of the funds coming from myself and a few best friends. Neon Days is a film very close to my heart because it’s loosely based on my real experiences dealing with anxiety, depression, and anger issues.

It’s a beautiful, weird little film, made with a lot of passion. Making this movie was very cathartic, and my hope is that people will watch it, relate to it, and feel a little better. I definitely think the PCFF crowd would understand and appreciate this movie. I would definitely love to show them!

Thank you for considering Neon Days for PCFF 2020.
