Scorsese’s Son
James, supposedly Martin Scorsese’s son, is trying to apply for jobs with a different identity when he meets Gerald, an opportunistic interviewer.
Sebastian Saavedra and Nate Wilburn are childhood friends who grew up in Montgomery, Texas. They bonded over their shared love of movies and filmmaking, and in high school, they made their first short film together called “The End”. The film was a huge success, winning third place in the state of Texas by the University Interscholastic League, and also screening at the “All American High School Film Festival”. After high school, Sebastian and Nate both went on to study film at different colleges. They still collaborate on projects to this day and have even wrote, directed, and produced their very first feature film over the summer.
After a years worth of trying to fit into other peoples boxes, we said “Fuck all that shit” and finally made something we like.
We attempted to go back to stylistic form from our last project ‘Epilogue’ and reign in our eccentric aspirations from our officially selected short ‘The End’, to culminate a balance and walk the fine line in Dark Comedy and Drama in, ‘Scorsese’s Son’.
