Writer/Director/Camera/Edit – Jack Beck
Jack’s films & videos have collectively garnered 250+ screenings in festivals, galleries, theatres, universities, tours, and TV. International screenings in five continents. In addition to being a filmmaker and educator, Jack Beck has worked as a cinematographer, videographer, editor, screenwriter, and sound engineer. He is now the Film Program director at RIT in Rochester, NY.
Producer – Barbera Beros
Barbera Beros is originally from Croatia and now lives in Luxembourg.
Composer – Octavio Vazquez
Octavio Vazquez, originally from Spain, teaches at Nazareth College of Rochester, NY, where he directs the composition program. The music of Octavio Vazquez has been performed throughout the US, Europe, and Asia, and broadcast by radio and TV stations such as PBS, PRX, New York’s WQXR, and Spanish, Russian and Chinese national networks. A winner of numerous national and international prizes, recent recognition includes I-Park Foundation and MacDowell Fellowships.
Sound Designer – Maria (Vicky) Mejia Yepes
Vicky is a sound designer and musician from Bogota, Colombia, and based in upstate New York. She holds a diverse body of work in film, television, commercial production and live music. Her interests lie in projects that highlight immigration and social issues as well as underrepresented communities. She recently joined Ithaca College where teaches courses on audio production and location audio in the television and radio program at the Roy H Park School of Communications.
Colorist – Manojh Reddy
Manojh is an active feature cinematographer originally from Hyderabad, India. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
Jack’s films & videos have collectively garnered 350+ screenings in festivals, galleries, theatres, universities, tours, and TV.
I was living in Dubrovnik and befriended Franjo and Marin, locals, to lend their talents to the project. Marin was in Dubrovnik during the war. Barbera, a local, became the producer and translator. Other locals assisted with connections and locations in Stari Grad. I owe much success to these very giving people.
