Two differing and quarrelsome interviewers conduct a round of interviews for an open position. (This film won Best Comedy at the 2018 Franklin International Independent Film Festival.)

Director Biography – Sam Juergens

Sam is an award-winning filmmaker from Georgia. He wrote and directed ‘The Interviewers’ starring his brother David Juergens.

The award-winning comedy also stars comedian and best-selling author Amy Lyle, and ‘The Interviewers’ marks her first on-screen role in a film. Currently, Amy Lyle is a regular guest on the TV morning talk show ‘Atl & Co.’ (NBC-WXIA Atlanta).

‘Bottled Up’, a faith-based film he co-wrote, directed, and starred in, won Best Short Film at the 2015 Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. Following its festival run, brothers Sam and David secured a multi-year streaming distribution deal for ‘Bottled Up’ with Pure Flix Entertainment.

His most recent screenplay, ‘The Hardest Hit’, is a three-time Finalist in international screenwriting contests and won Best Screenplay at the 2018 Catalina Film Festival. Currently, Sam is on the development team of ‘Grace’, a faith-based Western feature film directed by and starring Nancy Stafford (‘Matlock’).
