When Lamonte was 17 he heard the police were looking for him, so he voluntarily went to the station to help clear up any of the apparent confusion. He never saw the free world again until he was 41 years old. Through life behind bars, another dying prison pointed him to The Light of God. Today, Lamonte is fighting for others who are innocent in prison.
