West Mount Action Design is a full service film industry stunt crew and special action design team led by Ken Sevier, a recent award winner from the US-China International Film Festival and International Cultural Tourism Arts Festival for Outstanding actor and stuntman. Other key team members consist of Kaiser Tin-U, who recently assisted in choreographing fight scenes in the new upcoming Disney’s Mulan movie, Victor V Gelsmino, producer/director of HandCannon Productions, Brian Tai Self, Tae Kwon Do master and trick kicks star, and stuntwoman Janet Wang Stamper. West Mount Action Design consists of martial artists, actors, riggers, stunt drivers, video production, and highly specialized film action coordinators.
The West Mount Action Design team will be this year’s Special Guest Speakers, and will be opening the 2020 festival with their own unique action packed and informative presentation.

Ken Sevier is the creator of West Mount Action Design. He had a vision, and within that vision formed the core team. Ken’s many years in the entertainment industry has taught him how to recognize talent. His judgment of character allowed him to form this tight knit group of talented people. His love for entertaining began as a child, and carried through to adulthood. Over the years Ken has trained with some of the best in the industry becoming an expert certified rigger, coordinator, stunt driver, stunt horse rider, stunt man, and actor.
He can be found in many films, television shows, and commercials as a coordinator and or stunt man such as Kung Fu Tea Commercial, The Bat, Girls Guns and Blood, Boo Boo Bandits, Brackish Water, Justified and many more.
Ken has assembled a tremendous group of people to form Houston’s most talented Action Design Company. His kindness, humility, and skill are the heart of West Mount Action Design.
Kaiser Tin-U — Coordinator/ Martial Artist/ Wire Fighter/ Weapons Specialist/ videographer/vfx

Kaiser Tin-U is a multi-faceted Wu Shu martial artist, weapons specialist, and wire fighter. He also has extreme talent behind the camera as videographer, and vfx artist. But his leading trait is as a choreographer. Kaiser has the ability to create masterful fight scenes with just a basic description of the scene. He also has a keen eye for filming, knowing which angles work the best, and what shots to film to create a flawless video.
He can be found in many films such as Live Action Mulan, The Last Man Hunt, Death Wears a Young Face, Agent Simmons, and many more! His skill on and off camera are unparalleled.
Kaiser is one of the founders of West Mount Action Design, choreographer, stuntmen, martial artists, and videographer.
Victor V Gelsmino — Actor, Stunt-man, Producer, Director, and Physical Trainer

Victor V Gelsmino’s talents extends beyond just acting and stunt work, he is a well-known producer, director, and physical trainer. Victor grew up with a love for many sports such as baseball, soccer, and basketball. He also has martial training, with an intense training of Kung Fu in China. After suffering for a decade with severe pain, he was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. This lead him to rediscover his love for film.
You can find Victor in such films as Army of One, Halloween Night, and Kill Zone as an actor, producer, and director. His future projects are The Last Astronaut, and Narco Sub.
Today, Victor is the owner and creator of Hand Cannon Productions. His knowledge and experience helps West Mount Action Design in providing the absolute best finished product.
Janet Wang — Actress/Aerialist/Stunt woman

Janet Wang in her younger years participated in many sports including soccer, team handball, golf, and Tae kwon do. Growing up she was a talented stage performer and model, her Master once said to her, “You will go to the Olympics, and then I will make you a movie star!” However, she put a pause on her acting career to raise a family. Janet was discovered by Ken when she was asked to help out with an event as a pole dancer, and the rest as they say is history.
Janet is now an active performer as an aerialist specializing on the cube, lyra, and pole. She is known for her flexibility and strength as a performing aerialist. Her flow carries over to her acting and as a stunt woman. She has a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, her flexibility and technique allow for some graceful and powerful kicks!
Janet is the acting manager for West Mount Action Design, stunt woman, actress, martial artists, and wire fighter.
Eastwood “Woody” Almazan — Stuntman/ Actor/ Martial Artist/ Coordinator

Eastwood “Woody” Almazan started his life enveloped in martial arts. His father, an 8th Dan master in Song Moo Kwan Tae-Kwon Do trained him traditionally in Tae-Kwon Do and Karate until his passing in 1997. In 2001, Woody began his training in ChiChing Tang Lang Wushu under Sifu Arnold Buenviaje in Manila, Philippines. After returning to the United States in 2006, he joined the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged in 2016. He also trained at the Nei Wai Chia Wing Chun Academy from 2014 to 2016.
He has been a theater actor and stage fight choreographer since 1995, performing in such productions as West Side Story, The Full Monty, Man of La Mancha, and Love, Sex and the I.R.S. He was featured in the short movie Girls, Guns, and Blood and several short films in Texas such as Shhhh!, Halloween Nights, and The Companion.
Woody’s experience and talent provide the team with energy and depth, he has an eye for missing aspects in coordination which helps in the production of a quality scene.
Bryan “Tai” Self — Stunt Performer / Fight Choreographer

Bryan is a talented and highly experienced Houston stunt performer, and one of the founding members of West Mount Action Design. He also works as a martial arts instructor from at Global Martial Arts, specializing in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiujitsu, and Martial Arts Tricks.
From a young age, Bryan spent most of his developing entertaining skill sets, like breakdance, gymnastic tumbling, Taekwondo, BJJ, martial arts tricks, martial weapons, and many more. These played a key role in creating a style and proficiency that established Bryan into the Houston scene. With the guidance of his mentor Mark Chavarria (RIP), Bryan stepped into the stunt world in 2016 and has been making waves every since.
Bryan has done stunts on many Texas based indie films, including Girls, Guns and Blood on Amazon Prime. He currently lives in Houston TX with his girlfriend and his chihuahua.
Matthew F Davis — Stunt & Combat Coordinator, and Action Director
Matthew F Davis idealized Jackie Chan back when he was a child; since then, Action/Comedies are the genre of film he wanted to step into. The first professional short he appeared on, The Ghost, written by Victor Vincent Gelsomino. Matthew quickly learned how film was created and how many different roles it takes to make films happen.
Matthew jumped right into co-running a stunt class teaching stunt combat, rolls, and falls working his way up from short films to features like The Last Astronaut. In a short 3 years time, he now works as an AD concurrently filming feature length films.
Qu Griffin — Stunt-man, Martial Artists, Graphic Design artist, and Video FX Specialist

Qu Griffin is a stunt man, martial artists, graphic design artist, and video FX specialist. He has been training in kendo, and other weapons such as knives and nun chucks for a number of years. Qu is a quick study, and picks up on any new changes quickly. He has a strong presence on film, and his talents stretch beyond just acting and martial arts, he can speak several languages, and is a self-taught musician.
He has experience on numerous films as an actor in Girls Guns and Blood, The Sit Down, as a stuntman in Dead Man’s Fuel, Girls Guns and Blood, and Boo Boo Bandits, he was behind the scenes as part of the Camera Crew in The Order of Things, and When I Grow up.
In his musical career he’s been a part of opening acts for national bands like Saving Abel, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Puddle of Mudd, and Smile Empty Soul.
Qu brings a sense of presence and strength while on set. You can count on him to be a calming energy amongst tension.
