As far back as I could remember I always wanted to make a sports comedy. I grew up a big fan of films like Kingpin and I loved the TV show Eastbound and Down. With “You Don’t Mess Around With Nancy Noble”, I wanted to do something similar but add a new twist in the genre. I really enjoyed building the script around my two actors Lindsay Lewis and Bill Karnovsky. Ultimately, I wanted to make something people could enjoy and laugh with.
